In the first part of this two-part blog series, we discussed the various shingle lines offered by GAF. Now we will discuss the various warranty options available to you. Diamond Roofing Specialists, Inc. • GAF Shingle and Accessory Warranty – This is the base warranty that provides a 100% coverage period of up to 10 years for material defects. In addition, GAF offers whole system coverage with this warranty. The cost of installation labor is included for up to 10 years as well. If we install at least three qualifying GAF Accessory products together with your shingles, the accessories will also be part of the 10-year coverage period.
• System Plus Warranty – This is a significant upgrade to the base roofing warranty. The System Plus Warranty provides a 100% coverage period of up to 50 years for material defects and it covers your entire GAF roofing system. The warranty also includes the cost of installation labor for a lifetime period. There is also a 100% coverage period for workmanship of up to two years. Lastly, it also provides coverage for up 130 mph winds and covers tear-off costs if necessary.
• Golden Pledge Warranty – This is one of the most comprehensive warranties in the industry because it covers your full roofing system, has a 100% coverage period for material defects of up to 50 years, and has workmanship coverage of up to 25 years. Like the System Plus Warranty, it also includes the cost of installation labor for a Lifetime period and provides coverage for up to 130 mph winds. The Golden Pledge Warranty includes both tear-off and disposal costs.
